You know more English
than you think

The grammar is there. The vocabulary is there. But the moment you speak to a real British person — fast, casual, full of idioms — it falls apart. That's exactly what I help with.

Practical, Friendly Tutoring
Tailored to You

Most English learners reach a point where they stop improving — not because they're not smart, but because they've only ever practised "classroom English." Real conversations don't sound like a coursebook. They're faster, messier, and full of phrases nobody ever taught you.

That's where I come in. I'm Adam, a native British English speaker from Yorkshire. My lessons are relaxed and conversational — because the best way to get comfortable speaking English is to actually speak it, with someone who'll be patient, honest, and genuinely interested in helping you improve.

English is my native language — and honestly, the only one I've got. I know just how weird it can be: no future tense, inconsistent rules, idioms that make no sense. But I also know how to explain it in a way that clicks. I bring a Yorkshire accent, cultural insight, and a sense of humour to every lesson.

Real conversation practice

It's my language — pretty much my only one. That makes me well placed to guide you through its many idiosyncrasies.

Goal-focused lessons

Career, travel, social — every lesson is built around what you actually need, not a generic textbook.

Cultural context

Exposure to accents, dialects, idioms, and the kind of British English you won't find in a classroom.

A safe space to make mistakes

Confidence is key. My lessons are designed to feel like chatting with a friend — just with purpose.
